Current Build Card Request Status

I recently resubmitted my request for a build card to Danielle.

 

She is becoming that girl in high school that you kept asking and asking and she kept saying no, but you knew one day she would finally say yes.

 

But I digress here is her most recent response;

 

 

 

Hello Bill,

 

I hope you are doing well since we last talked.  Unfortunately, we are still unable to do the research needed to answer your request, due to corporate guidelines, and having limited physical access to the archival records.  

While we cannot provide a time frame as to when we will be able to assist you, I would expect that it will be towards the end of August or September, but there is no target date at this time.  Please contact us at the end of the Summer to see if we have returned to the office full time.

Thank you for your understanding on this matter.  We look forward to being able to help our customers in the future.

Received the build card today, pretty self explanatory,

others I have seen look more like IBM Punch cards.  ?

 

I am not sure what the 1300 A33 adj lift mix is

or if I am deciphering it correctly.

 

 

I looked into Miller Auto Company and found this photo for sale on eBay

not sure if it is the same 'Miller'.....

That is pretty cool. May be a dumb question, but how do you go about ordering a build card? And if you don’t mind, how much does it cost?

That’s neat. Maybe a tow lift? Searching for any providence is always the best part of a hobby.  

  I purchased a vintage LC Smith double shotgun some years ago. Turned out to be once owned, shot in several major documented matches, the owner being a “TK Lee” that invented the Lee Dot scope. Not long after the purchase, remaining family sent me several letters that had been written about the gun, him, and pictures of his accomplishments. It was really cool to have those documents dating to the original purchase on 12/24/1924.

This is the form I used, back in January of 2021, got way backed up by Covid.

I would submit it along with proof of ownership, sit back and wait.

I did not send a check, her letter states she returned the check (probably if sent)

They bare slowly getting through the backlog.

Back on 8/6/2012 Danielle provided build cards per my request for my 47 WC and 67 Charger. Very nice Woman and glad to see she is still working to support these old Mopars. With both of my build cards she sent additional printed sheets with details about the vehicles. That may be due to the changes I noticed in her letter to you compared to mine.

 

I noticed the stationary in your letter is different than what she provided in my letter which has:

• Pentastar logo at the top followed by Chrysler in bold text
• Historical Services/Chrysler Group LLC at the bottom after her signature

Here is some info on options including "Deluxe Cab" below and the pricing

 

OPTIONS Trucks: Air cleaner, one quart instead of standard one pint
($3.70). Rear bumper ($6.35). Deluxe cab equipment, includes hair pad
seat cushion and back, armrest (left side), dome light, dual vacuum
windshield wipers, one sun visor, plastic coated trim ($26.65).
Generator: 230 watt, six- to eight-volt/32 amp / hour. High-charging at
low engine speed ($8.30). Governor ($5.15). Oil filter, replaceable.

Thanks, Yes back then I think it was just Chrysler Corp, then in 2014/15 became FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.)

Then PSA Group (Peugeot S.A.) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. merged to become Stellantis in early 2021.
