Carl-Gustav
Hi guys Wich spark plugs would you recommend for a New Yorker 47, straight 8... The manual says 14mm, 0.025 inch gap but it's a jungle out there with a 1000 lengths, materials and so on ... Regards from Sweden ??
Solution Sniper Posted June 27, 2021 Solution Report Share Posted June 27, 2021 Not sure what brands are available in Sweden, but RockAuto shows several brands and part numbers, all of which should fit. You might be able to cross one of these numbers to something locally available. I run the Autolite 306 plugs in my engine, which is also called for your engine. It's a resistor type plug with a 3/8" reach. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/chrysler,1947,new+yorker,5.3l+324cid+l8,1486585,ignition,spark+plug,7212

greg g
I have been running the same set of AC45r in my Plymouth 6 for 45k miles. Pulled a couple last week they still look new. I believe AC46r is the crossover for the autolite number Sniper mentioned. There are Bosch crossovers as noted in the linked chart https://www.sparkplug-crossreference.com/convert/AC_DELCO/46
