Sniper Posted June 28, 2021 Report Posted June 28, 2021 One addendum to Rich's excellent advice, if someone has been in there before you double check everything otherwise you will be putting his mistakes back in. 1 Quote
keithb7 Posted June 29, 2021 Author Report Posted June 29, 2021 I agree with Richard’s thought process. I just wanted to confirm that in my example, the balls weren’t mixed up. The two balls were the same size. They should not have been. Someone somehow put the incorrect diameter ball in one of the ports. Quote

I put extra, extra oil down in #2. I flashed it up this morning. Burned off the oil. Went for a drive. Did a compression test on #2. Still 75 psi. I will add MMO in the fuel tank indefinitely and see if the situation improves. Next step is a full valve set. Will report the results. Today I measured 85 psi in #2. Getting better! This is fantastic news. I have been adding MMO to the fuel. Wonder if its helping or is it just improving from regular use ? Will measure again in the fall and report back. Quote
