Brendan D25 Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Happy Thanksgiving to my Candian friends here! From the Far East, Brendan. Quote
RobertKB Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Brendan, same to you. Don't eat too much turkey and take it easy on the screech out your way. I'll have to settle for a rye and coke, beer, and of course some nice wine with supper. Went out pumpkin hunting with my '38 Chrysler and managed to capture one. Picture shows it just after capture with my '38 standing guard. Sure do love pumpkin pie! Quote
PatS.... Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 And a Happy Thanksgiving to you all as well. Looking forward to the turkey and the get together with family and friends. Looks like the weather is more than co-operating...summerlike weather here today, more tomorrow. I think the rye and coke is a great idea...maybe one day early I earned it today, gutted the motorhome onehanded...great fun!! And you can see what a beautiful October day it is. Quote
Suddensix Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Happy Thanksgiving from Toronto. Spent the weekend at Pumkinfest in Port Elgin Ontario where the weather was more like mid July than early October. Had some 1200 cars at the show on Saturday. I took several photos of many and assorted Mopars which I will post if I can figure out how to do it. Enjoy the turkey etc. Cheers Gary Quote

eric wissing Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Ok, Brothers of North. fill this yankee in on the traditional Canadian Thanksgiving meal. Of the top of my head I couldn't name your prime minister. Excuse the ignorance but is it Turkey and Pumpkin pie? Eric Quote
PatS.... Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Of the top of my head I couldn't name your prime minister. Excuse the ignorance but is it Turkey and Pumpkin pie? Eric Well, Eric, that's close. His name is Stephen Harper:D Quote
55 Fargo Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Eric, it ain't much different north of the border, Turkey with all the trimmings, Pumpkin Pie, Roast Ham, maybe some meatballs. The reason ours is i October, is the harvest in Canada is earlier, and winter is earlier, so the harvest is in and it's time to be thankful.............Fred ps not sure if that is 100 % but it sounds good Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 any day a meal like that is put together is a day of THANKSGIVING Quote
