It’s my understanding that the choke assembly had an asbestos gasket under it from the factory. Since that’s a big no no I’m wondering what can be used for a replacement. I’m currently using regular gasket material.

I went to a napa store and got a sheet of heat resistant gasket and cut my own. I thraced the outline of the base of the sisson choke and then staped two holes inthe end and put it under the choke.
