Need Machine Shop Recommendations Colo.

Looking for GOOD machine shop recommendations in CO, (Colorado Springs/Pueblo)

will go to UUGGHH Denver if need be, prefer not to.

 

8 members in CO

1 in Albuquerque (better than Denver)

 

Hope someone has a lead, hard to find anyone knowledgeable in flat heads ?

Have one recommendation, like to have at least three estimates/opinions!

They did a good job drilling and installing studs in my bell housing for T-5 swap.

AMS Automotive Machine and Supply in Ft Collins ( its not Denver LOL)

Did a good job, for me. Prompt and at the stated price. Bored block and did the valve job.would have done the entire build if I had chose.

Thanks guys, I guess I should not 'discount' Denver so quick, 

for a machine shop you are not going into the rioting and decrepit downtown area.

 

Fort Collins is a haul, but Is New Belgium open?

That may make it worthwhile. LOL

I talked with a guy in Pueblo a few months back.  Saw the "shop" and equipment, was very knowledgeable of the old stuff and willing to work with budget and other requests.  Being that I want to reassemble my engine after machine work completed to get kids involved with the internals and operations.

I've talked to them about getting work done on my block, and will most likely stay in the Springs with either Rocky Mtn or Ehnes Enk.  Both had faster turn around times than Highside.  Just waiting on the truck fund to build back up. 

Yes, I'm in the Springs.  Security actually. Not to far from 25 and S Academy exit.
