Drewfinn Posted July 13, 2020 Report Posted July 13, 2020 Hello Folks! New guy to the forum. Working on a 51 Cambridge, have a bunch of questions, but, right now this is the one. I was cleaning up my transmission before reinstalling it and I found this spring on the ground... Uh...where do it go? Any ideas? Thanks! Quote
keithb7 Posted July 13, 2020 Report Posted July 13, 2020 Looks like maybe driveshaft front trunnion spring. Quote
Drewfinn Posted July 14, 2020 Author Report Posted July 14, 2020 Driveshaft(propeller shaft) is all buttoned up tight, hasn't been apart. Was thinking maybe a part of the parking brake shoe set...off to check things out! Thank you! In othet news, oil pan cleaned and reinstalled, new rear seal fiddled into place and flywheel all bolted up. Just takes so long when I try to be patient. Quote

dpollo Posted July 14, 2020 Report Posted July 14, 2020 that goes on the parking brake on the passenger side, a 5/16 bolt goes through it . the bolt must be drilled and wired in place 1 Quote
