Brake drum dampener package part # 1103810

Fits brake drums less than 11 inches. Anyone know this part number?

Brad: Are you talking about the spring that rapped aroubnd the exterior part of the brake drum?  I think just by the part number this was used in the 50-60's.  My books do not go up that far, sorry.

Not in my 55-58 parts book.  Generally the lower the number the earlier it was introduced.  That number is pretty low.

the early 30 to late 30 cars use 6 digits numbers  so for my 39 Desoto it ranges from 100129  to 872268

I looked through three 1946 thru 1961 supercedence part # books...nothing.

Looked at my go to passenger and truck master parts books...nothing.

Numbers starting with 1103....none.

Odd part number. Maybe export.
