So my truck had both mirrors but no mirror brackets so I went this route. Just wondering if the look to tall

I guess I agree with Larry.  The stem needs to be a bit taller.

Would probably work at that height on the driver's side, but, will be too low for the passenger's side. Wondering, too, if for the passenger side, the "A" pillar might be in the way, unless you can rotate to angle the mirror to the rear.

I haven’t done the passenger side yet.  I did want a more compact mirror location and it’s perfect inside the cab was just wondering everyone’s opinion on this setup thanks

it appears to be functional as mounted but as for aesthetics, falls way short of the mark for a period looking install.
