pflaming Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 I know I crazy, but for $350 just had to buy this. It’s on a duelly frame and includes a flat bed. Don’t know what I’ll do with it, maybe add it to 48dodgers collection. It does not have an engine, but lots of those around. 1 Quote
Radarsonwheels Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 Worth it for sheetmetal patch panels and door parts but man wotta heap! what’s up with the 8 hole piece in the nose? Quote
pflaming Posted September 14, 2019 Author Report Posted September 14, 2019 I wondered the same. I reversed my decision to buy it, yet at $350, even without an engine is worth that for parts. Hope someone picks it up. Quote

pflaming Posted September 15, 2019 Author Report Posted September 15, 2019 Bob, there is an old story of a little boy who was throwing the small sea creatures back into the ocean while millions did not make it back and were eaten by the sea gulls. An observer asked the boy if what he was doing made a difference, to which the boy replied,”it does to that one,”. I guess we best just just try to save one, but the other ones we see are very temping. 1 Quote
Steve-L Posted September 15, 2019 Report Posted September 15, 2019 Can’t save them all. Wondering if it has the 2 speed rear end? Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted September 15, 2019 Report Posted September 15, 2019 2 speeds were only in 1-1/2 ton and up... 1/2 thru 1 tons never. 1 Quote

Bob is a nice name but not mine. I go by Robert or Rob. Just saying and certainly no offence taken. Just an educational moment. 1 Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 I'm done trying to save all those trucks that should be saved. I cannot do it anymore....too many out there. I'm a Rob or Robert too.... not a Bob! 1 Quote
pflaming Posted September 16, 2019 Author Report Posted September 16, 2019 Robert it will be! Sorry! 1 Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 (edited) Rob is really for me!? Edited September 21, 2019 by Dodgeb4ya Quote
RobertKB Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 I like either Robert or Rob but family always calls me Rob.....................when they're being nice. My daughter (divorced with two sons) has a friend who is also Rob. I always call him Rob2. 1 Quote
