Bobby198412 Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 I was wondering where I could get this arm/linkage. The top is broken and I can't get the clip on it. It keep popping out of the hole. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 One possible place to find that part is from another old Mopar flathead six engine. Another is eBay. Or perhaps someone here on the forum has one of those lying around they could spare. Or, can you find a heavy enough piece of wire and cut/bend to suit? Quote
greg g Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Is that for engaging the fast idle when the choke is closed? Do you really need it? Do much cold temperature driving? Call George Ashe 8153642621, he has boxes of parts from Carters. Quote
casper50 Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Does it stick through enough that you can drill a hole in it and use a cotter pin? Quote

Bobacuda Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Take a photo of just the part needed, sitting on or near a ruler for measurements. I might have one on one of my parts carbs. 1 Quote
Bobby198412 Posted June 20, 2018 Author Report Posted June 20, 2018 Ok I will take a picture today.. Around 630pm when I get home from work. Quote
Bobacuda Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 While you are at it, what is the number for the carb? On the photo you posted, it will be stamped on one side or the other, just out of the photo's range, on that "fin" that connects to the "barrel" of the carb. Quote
