Jj1981 Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 I am currently running a set of stock ford bronco 2 wheels on my b2b that are a perfect fit I am wondering if there is any reason I can’t run the calipers from the same model? Quote
Jj1981 Posted April 26, 2018 Author Report Posted April 26, 2018 Also any reason the rotors wouldn’t work thanks Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 little more to swapping these parts than merely this wheel will fit my drum....bearing/spindle issues diameter and length...off set of the hub...necessary bracket to hang the caliper, new flex lines and other issues.... Quote
Jj1981 Posted April 26, 2018 Author Report Posted April 26, 2018 What rotors will fit anyone experimented? Quote
Dave72dt Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 There's at leas a couple of companies that have done the research to do a disc conversion. As far as I know, they're not casting rotors or calipers but using off the shelf components, building their own brackets and supplying hardware and instructions. Rustyhope was one of the first and a member here. A search will bring up a lot of hits. Quote
59bisquik Posted April 27, 2018 Report Posted April 27, 2018 The Scarbird kit for the 54+ uses a custom machined aluminum hub and ranger/bronco rotors. Back in the day, the old kit used your stock hub after removing the rivets and drums and had then disc rotors. Not sure if the model they fit though. Quote
Jj1981 Posted April 28, 2018 Author Report Posted April 28, 2018 Since I’m using the bronco rims if the rotors will fit then the calipers should I will fab the mounts Quote
