Plymouthy Adams Posted June 16, 2017 Report Posted June 16, 2017 I see on TV this evening that the Wiener-mobile is back on their advertisements... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wienermobile Quote
JOHN EDGE Posted June 16, 2017 Report Posted June 16, 2017 Got to drive one in the late 1980's. I was service manager at a Chevy dealership in Tampa and one came in driven by two young college girl making a promo tour of college's in Florida. They were built on Astro van platforms and it had some mechanical issue we fixed it and I drove it for a while to check it over. Understand that after they were taken out of service they were destroyed when the new models can out Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 16, 2017 Author Report Posted June 16, 2017 I can fully understand when retirement time came the vehicles would be destroyed, cannot have some wiener hotdogging around in one of these giving the company a bad name... 1 Quote
Flatie46 Posted June 16, 2017 Report Posted June 16, 2017 Wonder how they destroyed it? With all the preservatives in hot dogs looks like it would never rot. 2 Quote
Bobacuda Posted June 16, 2017 Report Posted June 16, 2017 I have seen one at least once in the past three years motoring around San Antonio.
