rockable Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 I'm finally reassembling my 41 P12 and am looking for parts. Does anyone know of a source for the rollers and springs that go on the door glass frames? I have a bunch of old ones but most of them are "flat spotted" and I only have 2 of the front springs and one is not great. I would like to replace all these, if possible. Thanks! Quote
desoto1939 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 you might want to do a search on regulatorroy. He is located in Mulica Hill NJ and has a large selection of window regulator and he might have the parts. Rich HArtung Desoto1939@aol.com Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Maybe Ebay...http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAIR-WINDOW-REGULATOR-CHANNEL-1941-MOPAR-DODGE-DESOTO-CHRYSLER-TOWN-SEDAN-/331894315561 Buy some NOS roller channels or used and part them out to get what you need. That's what I have done in the past to get rollers and springs....for later 1946-48 cars. I see them on Ebay quite often. Look at the pics carefully to be sure the wheels and springs look like yours! I already did that and got more junky rollers. Thanks. Quote

casper50 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 how much does he charge for them? Quote
rockable Posted January 8, 2017 Author Report Posted January 8, 2017 $177/pr. delivered. I have used parts for sale. Quote
casper50 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Tks for the info. That's too much for me. All I need is one of the springs. Quote

DonaldSmith Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 DIY window roller spring: (The safety pin gave me the idea, but I used a binder clip spring. The broken spring is under the invisible tape, which you can sort of see. Crude, but the DIY spring works.) 4 Quote
