Personal Web Sites Idea

Lots of y'all have created web sites to document your project, a build, a travel adventure, and many photos. A great way to archive your work and share it with others. There are some good choices to choose a free hosting site and relatively easy to create. How about people that have items to sell. The classified here are a perfect way to hit a direct audience of potential buyers. But limited to members only. Create a web site, and make a For Sale page to list your stuff. Some guys have a lot of stuff. If someone is browsing the web, the parts should show up in a search. Might help find a potential buyer. Be sure to include contact information. Part names, part numbers, year, pictures, etc. Just an idea. I did it at work with some obsolete equipment and found some buyers.

The signature line acts as a way to direct someone to either a build thread or other site..... 

In mine, for example, I have a link to my youtube channel.

To get to edit the signature page:  click the down arrow by your avatar (the upper right corner) > account settings  > signature (left side of screen)

At that point you can fill in the info box with links to other sites.

Oh.....and if you don't see any sig lines on others post....it might be disabled. To see them you can turn on the feature using the same pathway.

Your own, or someone else's?

To edit your own, its the same process....To remove just one person's sig line, not possible....You'd have to disable everyone.

I do not see a delete when I bring mine up.

to delete a single person's signature other than your own is done in the ignore feature and one of the four subject areas one can control

click your name top right, account settings, go to signature...do your edits...

all that comes up when I do that is the option to view signatures, save and of course what I have in the signature block.  No way to delete that I can find.  I can highlite the whole signature but can't do anything with it afterwards.

Highlight everything then hit the space bar. Everything will disappear then hit save.

I tried highlighting everything and just the signature. Nothing happens when I hit the space key.

try right clicking the text box..when the little "plus" pops up at top left...use this icon to manipulate the editor..
