Dartgame Posted December 8, 2016 Report Posted December 8, 2016 1 inch bore will give you lower pedal effort and is usually what is used in manual brake applications. Muscle car era mopes used 1 inch for manual and 1 1/16 inch for power brakes. Quote

I doubt that a napa store would have the prebent lines for your car so you will have to bend and then flare the lines. Rich Hartung A while back I picked up a 25 foot spool of line. I don't remember what the material was. But I got it from the local Manny Moe and Jack. I also picked up an old flaring tool. I don't remember the brand, offhand. As I'm not at home in front of it. But last week in an attempt to flare a brake line, I broke the little insert that goes inside the hole in the line. I bought the old one because it was supposed to be an old well-made tool. so now, I need to pick up another flaring tool. Edited December 8, 2016 by belvedere666 Misspell Quote

Doesn't list it under repair parts but I would think they must sell the pieces separately. They do brake somewhat easily. https://store.snapon.com/Flaring-Tool-Sets-Blue-Point-174--Set-Double-Flaring-Tool-Blue-Point--P644043.aspx Quote
ptwothree Posted December 9, 2016 Report Posted December 9, 2016 Check your local auto supply store and see if they have a loaner tool service. I liked the flaring tool as a loaner so I bought it. 1 Quote
