images in clouds. Images in bondo???

When we first bought the house back in 73 the kids were only about 6 & 7 years old. They were both afraid to go down in the basement. They saw a witch down there. Turns out there is what looks like a witches face and hat in the woodgrain of the paneling down there.

This image mysteriously appeared on my brother's grape fruit tree the night after he was notified by the city of West Palm Beach that his prize tree was going to be removed by city workers due to some kind of pest they were trying to eliminate. A real miracle !

ah the immortal Edsel, butt of a million jokes. i firmly believe that the entire car was designed by guys trying to get each other fired, only it didn't work the way they wanted it to. mechanically, it was an excellent car, lots of good features and reliable. but the DESIGN... too many cooks in that kitchen.

then again, the '60 mercury is bizarre, just not so much as the edsel. look at the 60 polara... ??? where did that come from? the 58 impala? lots of plain ugly cars made it onto the streets... thankfully not many made it into the toast hall-of-fame!

I love the Edsel because it is weird and has its history. I can see why it bombed when it came out, though.
