Anybody use Rocker King sheet metal parts?  They have rocker patch panels for various years and cars.  20 gauge metal.  I can't be certain if the profile is accurate or not.  He said that they make these from original masters of aftermarket parts that were released in the fifties as original rockers began to rust out.  $85 a piece, I believe.

I've never heard of that guy. From reading the info on his site he makes it seem like he has after market pieces from the 40-60s. Once those are gone he doesn't have any more. So I'm not certain that he actually fabricates them. For $85 it sounds like a good deal. Having a metal shaper make some for your car will cost much more than that. 20 gauge steel sounds kind of thin, I know most all the body panels on my 39 Plymouth are 19.

I have bought several replacement rocker panels from this seller about 4 years ago and they do look good and fit was great on my 50 Suburban.

They are NOS from a replacement panel MFG.er  from earlier years. Not rusty but slightly thinner than the original but not really visibly to the eye. Curves matched 100 times better than the others sold on EBAY (also 20 Ga.) that were Not even close to fitting.

Just my 2 cents.

Guess at the time that I bought, what I bought ,they were  what I stated ( per a phone call or q. on ebay, do not remember) but no longer, I guess that he now has someone duplicate them?

Then my remarks do not tell you what you asked. Hope that he is doing a accurate copy.

Best of luck with getting a newer response as to your question.

Well, as he explained it to me, it makes good sense.  He has original aftermarket patterns and uses those.  You can imagine that body shops in the fifties would be in need of these parts after the cars were on the road awhile.  I think at $85 a pop it's worth a try.  Maybe buy one first!

some rockers use a J curve..that is a feature missing off most all aftermarket made repair panels..also note that the original rockers has a slight outward bow...this also is usually absent in a rocker formed by a brake....inspect your rocker close and compare to this picture..ask of the bow...
