Just picked up a new project, 48 p, 4 door,, it was volare clipped before i got it, with full running gear, 318, auto, ps pb, volare column, nice job, but they really halfassed the wiring, it has the column harness and most of the front harness but nothing else, so i just ordered an EZ harness, solid body, but guy i bought it from tried to strip it with a grinder, hacked it all up, then left it for a few years, so now its all gouged up and loaded with surface rust, I'm going to have to spend 1000 hours sanding just like i didd on my 51

Love the lines on those cars. Classic '40s style. Maybe a rust remover product like one from Mastercoat would work for a project like this?

If you do it "wax on" then "wax off" not only will you get your cardio work out you can also tell Chuck Norris off.

I have to sand mine someday as well, but I've been putting it off.

Still nice find.

just took her on the maiden voyage :) bench bled the master cylinder, got some brakes finally, so I cruised around the block a few times, weird ride with the frontend torsioned up so high, hard to see over that long nose, it will be better when the back is up, (did I mention its gonna be a gasser)
