eric wissing Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 Went down into Husker Country today and saw Kevin Anderson's 48(?) 4 door Plymouth. He really needs to post some pictures. Great looking car, fully optioned!! He has dual carbs and split exhaust, original paint and the metal white wall thing-a-ma-jobs. Very clean original car, low miles, Kevin Thanks for the engine, I saved you from ever trying to squeeze it into that Plymouth. Eric Quote

Young Ed Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 I'm still determined to find a set of the stainless ones for my p15. I bought a set from Tim and they fit great on my 51 ply wheels but not on the 48. They stick up in the middle and the hubcap won't go on. Quote
eric wissing Posted July 11, 2007 Author Report Posted July 11, 2007 I never have my camera with me, They look nice Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 Mr. Ed.....did you ever try my suggestion of putting the cap on first, then the ring.....??? At a glance I can not tell which one of mine is on the outside--the other 3 go under the cap, but one will only go over. It seats down pretty well around the edge. Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted July 12, 2007 Report Posted July 12, 2007 I want pictures! Don, Eric sounds like me. Never carry my camera unless I'm on vacation and even then it's a pain in the rear. Like to travel light. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 12, 2007 Report Posted July 12, 2007 I have my fun taking the camera just about everywhere with me. Often is something interesting to me, and sometimes to others, out there. It's a small camera.....doesn't weigh very much. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 12, 2007 Report Posted July 12, 2007 One thing for sure, you do post some nice pictures of diamonds in the rough as you travel about...amazing sometimes what is in your neighborhood...this area I am in is pretty much been scoured over and been sold down river..but the occassional car/truck does pop out of the woodwork..pickings are slim and the state of repair you find them a bit on the "other side" of solid.
