jcmiller Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 I sold my rusty '46 New Yorker and replaced it with this land yacht. Unlike the New Yorker, it has a floor, motor, and transmission. I've been making some modifications to my garage so it will fit. It's a 1970 Fury, btw. 1 Quote
Brent B3B Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 congrats on the sale, does the Fury have all the trim? must have potential.... man, we have to find you a truck 1 Quote
plymouthcranbrook Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 I used to have one of those in 4 door trim. An Ex Police car with a 383 4 bbl. Went like stink, had it to at least 125 mph before my 21 year old nerve ran out. Have fun restoring that one. Quote
BigDaddyO Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 Good luck with your new Fury. Always liked those. I plopped a 383 & Tflite in a '64 Polaris with a posi and man, that thing would fly! I could pass anything but a gas station. 1 Quote
jcmiller Posted April 7, 2016 Author Report Posted April 7, 2016 This is my first big-block car so I'm looking forward to that. Quote
Young Ed Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Nice. Dad tried to buy this one when it looked about like that. Ended up the guy decided not to sell. He put a ton of money into the body and interior never fixed the mechanicals and never drove it. Couple years later Dad ended up with it after all. 1 Quote
jcmiller Posted April 7, 2016 Author Report Posted April 7, 2016 I like the green color. I'm partial to it because my first car was a green Barracuda. The interior on my Fury is green though. Quote
