kklemm
I am restoring a 1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe (Model P-12 two-door coupe) and am working on the dash. In disassembling it, I removed the pictured part but cannot identify it in any of my part books or other literature. It came from underneath the dash to the left of the steering wheel. I am looking for its name and a source to replace/refurbish it. Thanks.
Plymouthy Adams
looks like an aftermarket lighted heater fan switch
desoto1939
yes this is the heater switch and there isa factory hole in the bottom of the dash panel for this unit to be mounted and stick down. After market is basically the same as the original. remember most heaters were a dealer installed option so they installed what ever switch came with the unit or used a switch that they had in stock.
