TodFitch Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Thats pretty big. . . I know the 6.8 Northridge quake was very damaging and being a logarithmic scale, 7.1 is a lot bigger. I hope not too many people were hurt. Quote
casper50 Posted January 24, 2016 Author Report Posted January 24, 2016 I work in the hospital for my shift tonight. No one checked in as of yet. Quote
Frank Elder Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Will that send a tsunami to the somewhere? Quote
casper50 Posted January 24, 2016 Author Report Posted January 24, 2016 They said that it was too deep to make a tsunami. 50 miles. Quote
deathbound Posted January 25, 2016 Report Posted January 25, 2016 I remember Northridge very well, was about 45 miles from there and still hit hard. I vaguely remember the Sylmar quake in '71, was only 7 or 8 at the time. A few others stand out too, here in earthquake central. Quote
