A quick google search for streetrodder-polyshere showed  lots of info for polys, and on lots of forums.

The march 2015 streetrodder mag. had 2 pages of info about them and some avail. speed parts in the shop manual section of the mag.. Some were from Australia! Maybe you can see this info online.

Love to see the engine decked out and shiny in a stocker!

Best of luck,

Bluebell......your 325 Poly....is it based on the 318 Plymouth engine?......do you have a pic?...........I have a 318 Plymouth Poly in my 1940 Dodge and all late A series dissys will fit, ie, all late 318/340/360 engines......andyd

Bluebell.........see if you can find a dissy from an early Hemi, ie, 331-392 even an aftermarket one and measure the shaft length or this might help.......I just measured the 318 Plymouth HEI dissy I have and the length from where the dissy sits on the block to the end of the shaft is exactly 4"....this is the same for both 318 Poly and 318/340/360 wedge engines........if this helps...............andyd

Try Hot Heads in Lowgap NC. www.hothemiheads.com  I think they make an adapter for a ( please forgive my language ) chevy hei to Dodge hemi. The early Dodge poly engines are the same as the early Dodge hemi, they put poly heads on the hemi blocks. They are however, not the same as the later 318 poly.

I second the advice from BobK re Hot Heads.  They are very knowledgable and very generous with their advice.  My 325 Hemi started life as a 315 Poly.  Your '58 325 Poly is the last year that architecture was produced for Dodge/Ply.  The 318 Poly as a different block as pointed out by Andydodge.  The 318 Poly valve covers have a more "saw tooth" character than the softer scalloped 315/325 Poly.

These are the valve covers.  Disregard the engine.

I believe just about any speed equipment for the Dodge Hemi will bolt on to the Poly,....except cam spects are diff.   Modern Mopar 340 electronic dist, (w/Hot Heads shaft) and oil pump work and are very reasonable from Summit Racing.  I converted my dist. with a GM HEI module.

"speed parts" is a bit vague....

I will always recommend the Mopar Electronic Ignition for the early engines. Some zombie-combos appear to work well so you get to decide what is best for your application and your skill set.

Your engine will not accept the LA distributor as-is however, you will need a longer intermediate shaft. If you are on a budget and have some shop tools you can do the work yourself or just buy one out-right.
