Plymouthy Adams Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 not that fond of the shaved hood and frenched lights and what in the world went wrong at the rear of the car...someone forgot to tape off the lights and the hinges...lost lots of definition with those items as they are Quote
Ulu Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 Yeah, but stuff doesn't rust much in Visalia, PA. It could be a really solid car. Quote

It could be a really solid car. however....have you 100% assurances the car spent its entire life there and when not on the road parked out of the weather....you would think a car from central Texas would be pretty solid...the only thing that gave it any strength was the panels were full of smaller hole that in turn actually benefit it for strength to some degree...Briggs bodies of this era were a huge designer flaw and not only did Mopar suffer from this..so did all other Briggs bodies of the era...Packard is another body that suffer greatly.. Ulu Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 'Course not. Ya gotta check it out. Could actually be a SanDiego car. Now there's where you find some real rustbuckets. ('50s cars are not my cup of tea though.) Quote
