pflaming Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 A neice's father passes on and Debby's was left with his property. He divorced Debby's mother years ago and lived an alcoholic life, very sad. I was asked to take a look at what is on the 15 acre property sine I have limited experience with rust.. Debby's is left with quite a mess. Of some 15 vehicles there are three interesting ones. A 52 Chevy four door sedan, a 59 IH half ton, and a 40 Chevy truck. My brother and I drove a 38 Chevy pickup to school in western Nebraska which had no heater, no windshield wipers, plywood drivers side window, and holes in the floor board. Times were different then Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 looks like she needs to trade that stuff for a bulldozer rental..... Quote
pflaming Posted August 28, 2015 Author Report Posted August 28, 2015 This morning I asked her this question: Do any of your friends have a skip loader / tractor with a bucket on the front. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 It does look like she has her work cut out for her...I wish her the best... Quote
Dave72dt Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Is that a Ranchero or a Torino parked next to the IH? I'd find the Ranchero, if such , to be more interesting than either of the Chev's you posted. Quote
pflaming Posted August 31, 2015 Author Report Posted August 31, 2015 I think it's a ranchero with a cover on the bed. Quote
Dave72dt Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 That would be really tempting if it was a 74. Bought a 74 GT version as my first new vehicle. Very enjoyable vehicle to drive. Someday, maybe, will have another. Quote
