Fernando;

I had no idea that Ebay sellers would not ship to Brasil. I have bought stuff rom all over the world on ebay and never had an issue. Let me know if you can't put your hands on the correct mount and I will find a way to get it to you.

Jeff

Jeff I received the seller answer.The mount here is not the PH original.See how can you send me one  mount.Fernando.

Jeff Balazs and Dave72dt we verified(tested) and dismounted today the propeller shaft and saw that it was all twisted.This is probably the cause of the vibration.

Look at that example in a S-10.

Jeff I think this problem exists since before we changed the mounts.I am almost sure now.Tomorrow we will weld a new tube in the propeller.

I see. Perhaps this existing condition was further aggravated by the change in the front mount height.

For a while my mechanic said that the mount changing was not the cause of this vibration.I only noticed this vibration because I drove my PU at 40 km/p/h in a good road.I never drove with it in this same road conditions before.

Thanks for that video link Fernando.

I recently supplied Hardie Spicer with 4 original tailshafts and asked them to balance the best 1 of them for me and add new U-joints so that I could install it in my 53 Dodge 1/2 ton coupe truck. It came back looking good and they added counter-weights at either end. Your video showed me the process they used and I found it most interesting. I have had my tailshaft painted since then and it is ready to install on the truck now. Photo of tailshaft of how I got it back before painting (attached).

Maybe someone in your country with the know-how can balance the vibration out of your tailshaft?
