Barry Maxwell
The bracket in the attachment was stored several years ago with my door glass and mechanicals. I have no idea what it is, but it did come off my '51 B3C. Can anyone identify it?
Barry Maxwell
I will try and repost the above photo. I don't know what went wrong.
Brent B3B
i believe it is the bracket for the parking brake cable, mounted on the passenger side of the frame
Jeff Balazs
Barry; Ditto.....holds the handbrake cable away from the exhaust. Jeff

Barry Maxwell
Thanks guys. It all make sense now. My original truck had a column shift and a parking brake handle under the dash. The next owner (who converted the truck to a wrecker) then installed a different transmission with a floor shift and a parking brake lever next to the floor shift. When I disassembled the truck in 2010, I removed the parking brake handle (which I still have), and removed the above bracket (not knowing what it was for). Can anyone use the under dash brake handle and bracket? Thanks again everyone. Barry
