Certainly OT for a car forum, but "Little Jimmy Dickens" has passed away.  If you are a country music fan, you know who he was.  If you're not a fan, you've certainly heard him sing.  This gentleman was 94 years of age, and just recently performed on the Grand Ole Opry on his birthday.  RIP Jimmy. :(

I've heard him say several times on the Opry, "and this is from my latest recording, released in 1964" (or close to that) Still did pretty good for a guy in his 90's.

A while back we had the Opry on, they introduced him and he started telling a stale joke. (Probably from 1964 as well!) My wife says, "I wonder if he's still alive?" I pointed out we were listening to it live!

It was obvious that he truly loved performing, and considering he was 4'11" tall, his guitar looked like it was way too big for him. I always enjoyed hearing him sing. He was truly one of the "greats" of country music, and will be greatly missed. Sadly, most of the "greats" have passed on.

We had seen him live on the Opry a couple times over the years.  He seemed like a nice man, and we enjoyed

his songs.

Also, Donna Douglas was living in Arkansas, in the Eureka Springs area last I knew.  She did things in the

crafts field.

RIP Jimmy and Donna.
