Hello people!

Newbie to the forum here. Glad I found ya! Looks to be a helpful forum in which to participate in.

I have a '50 Windsor that I am looking for body-to-frame mounts for.  Not just the rubber grommets but the entire metal mounts...as my two front mounts are non-exsistant and the others are questionable due to midwestern rust.  Anyone have any idea if these are reproduced... or is this something that requires a cutting torch, Walmart parking lot and someone elses '50 Wndsor? Thanks in advance!

David

You'll probably have to make them up. Any used ones you find will be on a car too nice to cut up, or on one too rusted to be useful.

Thanks for the reply, Ulu.  That is what I kinda figgered but thought I'd take a stab at a long shot hopeful.  There are a few good metal guys around my area that could probably handle that,

They're not hard for any decent welder to make up, unless you're doing a show car & they need to be perfect reproductions.

Hello and welcome fellow Minnesotan. I would say its unlikely you will find anything around here. You could try calling some out of state junkyards. Otherwise time to get those guys working.

I would think that the mounting brackets from the chassis would be very similar if not the same on 4dr sedans etc so that may open up the search, those type of things tend to be a standard type of piece used by mopar, i'd try and compare with others........andyd

Do you have any pics of what the mounts look like? I'd post them up here, might help your chances of finding one. Or getting a set fabbed up.

Good Luck,
