This picture was in an eBay ad for a Sept 1956 edition of Car Craft magazine.  Shows how one

person had customized a 48 Plym convertible......the most notable thing being the 46-48 Olds

grille.  Just tossing it out here for fun.

that grille just bites the big one..uck...the hood is also lacking...guess I am not so much into this type treatment to an already stylish front end...

the very features of these old cars is my very draw to the era...I am not much for changing features as I am for changing drivetrains and upgrading drivetrains and interior with creature comforts

Yep.............I think the grille and other trim are just right for the P15s.  I really hate when guys want to remove

all the trim.......they look worse, not better.

I've seen a number of P-15s with Olds style grilles and I didn't like any of them.

IMO it always looks totally odd, where the Plymouth "nose" hits the top of the Olds grille surround "lip"

Totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I can't figure is why more folks haven't messed with the rear fender/wheel arch area.  A few have really messed it up but a more restrained hand has possibilities I believe.
