Photos from Street Rod Nationals in Louisville

Here are some photos from the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville KY. They were expecting about 11,000 cars this year. It looked like that many to me.  I took pics until my battery ran out.

I saw quite a few Plymouths, Dodges, Studebakers, Packards and even an Edsel Ranchero (Edchero) named "Double Lemon".

Always glad to share. I learned they have full hookup RV sites there, so I booked one for next year. It's just too much to see in one day, so I plan on 4 days next year.

Hey Ssnowden.  I see you got a pic of my car, but I didn't see you.  Should have looked me up, I was sitting in the tent right in front of the car.  Just got home a little while ago and had a great time again this year. 

 

I see you got a picture of another D-24 town sedan.  I guess I missed that one.  Neat pics, thanks for sharing!

 

This pic is of my car.  I see from your photos you like satin black cars too.

That is a great looking car. The satin finish is really compliments the curves of the fat fender cars, particularly when you see them in person. These cars are so big already, a glass shine can make it harder to notice the details sometimes.

By the time we got to this section of cars, momma and daughter had seen enough for the day, so I was taking pics while walking, and not getting the time I wanted to stop and smell the roses or really chat. That's why I'll be there next year in my RV for 4 days. I'll be able to find everyone that will be there next year.

We should do a P15-D24 Forum meet up one evening and get everyone together on one place. Get the cars together and take some group pics.

I agree we should try to do a meet and greet.

They have a special parking area on Saturday for mopars, called mopar country. I walked up and checked it out yesterday. About 30 or so cars parked up there. I took a bunch of pictures. I'll get them uploaded to photobucket later today and share them.

Another show you need to check out is frog follies in Evansville indiana. All pre 49 cars, swap meet is huge, and the food, entry, etc is very affordable.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. I hated to miss Mopar country this year.

As we get closer to the show next year, we can make sure everyone knows where and when to meet up. Mopar country seems like a good fit and they have plenty of room.

I'll check out the frog follies. That's not too far from home.
