unknown Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) Had to post the picuture on the second post. My 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Business Coupe. We finally got it out of the trees and cleaned up. (more pics later) It has sat in the same spot for about 30 years and suprisingly isn't a total rust bucket. Edited June 25, 2014 by unknown Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 That rocker panel stainless trim appears to be in very good condition....all things considered. Be sure to treat it gently as it's a bit hard to come by and also expensive. All that exterior trim, with certain exceptions, is stainless and can be both worked back out to smooth and can be buffed. JDaniel64 Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Where in kansas? Gotta love the back-lot and hedge-row treasures to be found here. Surprised to see only two bullet holes in the car, some cars sent out to pasture look worse than bonnie and clyde's ford! Quote

unknown Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 It was around the Lawrence area of Kansas. I inherited the car from my wife's grandfather when he passed away. My wifes grandfather was planning on redoing the car so when I got the car there are some extra parts. I did get the sun visor and I think there may be an extra one or two laying around. Quote
