deathbound Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 I went with Rusty Hope's ( http://rustyhope.com/site/ ) disc conversion. He's on this site, goes by "Oldaddy" (Charlie) & is very helpful. He will call back fairly quick if you have questions. You will have to drill & tap your steering arms, not sure you have to do that with the Scarebird or other kits. Good luck.....Derek Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Rustyhope site shows what you need..just went there...the premise is that you are familiar with brakes to begin with other than they stop you if you push the pedal and all is in repair. The kit gives you what you need to adapt modern discs to these cars. You should do a search on here as the kit has been covered many time. These threads will get you up to speed on what is needed to be done by you the installer. HIs kit is the bracket, necessary special hardware for mounting/adapting and the list of sundry goodies you will either buy new at your local friendly or search through the junkyards if you budget minded...your call...your own neck at risk there...keep in mind that this does not include rotors, loaded claipers and flex lines...but his kit includes the exact part numbers needed and as stocked by your local friendlies. BigDaddyO Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) I've got the bucket and 4 x 4's. Hey, it's a start. I've also got the pipe tobacco can but it's Granger, what my Gramps used to smoke. That and cigars. As a kid I loved the way his car smelled.(1950 Plymouth 4 door Special DeLux ; learned to drive in that baby) Nothing like a good cigar. Edited October 11, 2014 by BigDaddyO 1 Quote
