Lumpy Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Grille looks like it came off some 2014 SUV or truck! ken. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 so many of the Ghia connection concepts had that shape grille..was kosher at the time I guess... Quote
busycoupe Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 The grill appears to have a hole in it to insert a crank. I wouldn't think that would have been necessary in 50's. (Although my first car was a 1960 Hillman that I had to start with a crank because the ring gear on the flywheel was stripped.) Could the grill have been borrowed from an older vehicle? Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 Pretty sporty car there. All the companies had concept, futuristic cars back in the 50s. Fun to see today how many of their features became reality. As said.....that grille resembles some used in today's vehicles of various types. They usually put fancy wheels on those concepts......who'd a thought virtually every new car today would come with "mag" style wheels as standard issue. Lots of other features that finally became reallty. Quote
