pumppy10 Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 hey everyone, I've been laid up for awhile but should be up and around shortly, time to start getting parts for rebuilding the car. Can anybody give me the moog part number for front coil springs? Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 Might help to know what car you are working on. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 I believe that info is in his thread title, Don. '51 Concord Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 while I knew it was for the 51 Concorde..I would have to ask why you changing them..have they just flat out lost their tension or are you wanting to alter the stance on your car...if the avatar is your car..I would suspect that the car may have been lowered at one time by either a cut coil or heated and relaxed spring... actually it is very easy to call your local for this information...this is from online Advance Auto...your hometown guy can really be a help with these cars...give them a chance... http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_coil-spring-set-moog_20519060-p?searchTerm=coil+spring Quote
pumppy10 Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 fronts are just plain old wore out, plus drivers side is broke, called advance, autozone, napa and carquest, no one seems to be able to find a listing for these. I went on the advance on line and did not see a listing either. the car pic'd in my avatar is mine that I am rebuilding. the springs have not been cut, just really wooped! Quote
pumppy10 Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 just looking to get back to stock height, in that pic I was running 15" on rear and 14" on front. that's why it looks lowered. Quote

plyroadking Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 I used moog cc850 off of a 90 ford areostar, they work great and are very close to stock height, plus you can get a pair pretty cheap on ebay Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Try ESPO springs & things http://www.springsnthings.com/coil-spring.htm Quote
