MBF Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 I did a search here, and checked my parts manual. Can anyone cross reference the rear whl cyl p/n's (571 774, and 571 775) to a current NAPA or other part number? Thanks. Mike Quote
Big50Dodge Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 Been a while since I got the wheel cylinders for my 50 B2F, but I recall the search was less than simple. I've moved again, and things are still boxed up and some things are in storage now (Agh!). I don't think I can lay my hands on the cylinder information that I bought, but I'm willing to look. The B2F were 1 3/8 x 1 1/2 that NOBODY had. I would have had the original ones sleeved. I went with New ones that were 1 1/2 all the way through. They bolted to the backing plates just fine and the lines are the correct sizes/locations. Got them from a local parts store that WAS competition for NAPA. Now, that store is competition for autozone, but costs more. I think the cylinders I got were a WAGNER part number. I just went to the WAGNER web site - looks like they are part of Federal Mogul - and the information there is probably not going to do you any good. try reybestos..? Quote
MBF Posted August 26, 2013 Author Report Posted August 26, 2013 Does anyone know if they're the same as the fronts? My 1 ton were the same front and rear, but were reversed in bore sizes from side to side. I've already done the front cyls on the 2.5 ton-they were the same p/n's as the 1 ton. Quote
wallytoo Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 i don't believe they'll be the same size front and rear. my b-1-f uses two sizes, larger in rear. the fronts are the same as the one-tons. since your ja uses the same front, perhaps it uses the same rear as the "f". if it is, on of the rear also uses a number EW 6306. Dodgeb4ya Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 The J and K trucks use a larger rear wheel cylinder than the F-H series trucks. 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" bore cylinders are used in these heavier trucks. Bob Quote
