I'm going to be doing the shock relocation deal using an f-1 type upper mount.  I've read a lot about the install here and on the web but have one

question that seldom gets addressed.....That is, what to do with the lower shock mount?  Mine is 11/16" diameter (  L2 ) but the replacement

shocks are made for a 5/8" mount ( L1 ).  What are some solutions that you guys have come up with.

I'm going with the 33033 or 555003 or 4 type shock depending on how saggy the springs are.  Thanks for any info.....

I don't see it as an issue, but you can use a shim over the mounting shaft.

have you even tried to install the shock yet..everyone uses these on their conversion  with no feedback of fit problems...

I haven't bought them yet.  Just wanted to find out what, if any, problems I'd need to address.  And like Niel says, 1/16" won't make any diff.  Thanks for the input.  We're one step closer!
