ptwothree Posted August 25, 2013 Report Posted August 25, 2013 I'm going to be doing the shock relocation deal using an f-1 type upper mount. I've read a lot about the install here and on the web but have one question that seldom gets addressed.....That is, what to do with the lower shock mount? Mine is 11/16" diameter ( L2 ) but the replacement shocks are made for a 5/8" mount ( L1 ). What are some solutions that you guys have come up with. I'm going with the 33033 or 555003 or 4 type shock depending on how saggy the springs are. Thanks for any info..... Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 25, 2013 Report Posted August 25, 2013 (edited) have you even tried to install the shock yet..everyone uses these on their conversion with no feedback of fit problems... Edited August 25, 2013 by Plymouthy Adams Quote
Solution Niel Hoback Posted August 25, 2013 Solution Report Posted August 25, 2013 The shocks are rubber mounted and 1/16" won't matter. Quote

ptwothree Posted August 26, 2013 Author Report Posted August 26, 2013 have you even tried to install the shock yet..everyone uses these on their conversion with no feedback of fit problems... I haven't bought them yet. Just wanted to find out what, if any, problems I'd need to address. And like Niel says, 1/16" won't make any diff. Thanks for the input. We're one step closer! Quote
