bamfordsgarage Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 My bride and I just booked air travel to Britain for next month — I'm arriving September 06 for the Beaulieu Autojumble Sept 07-08 and also the Goodwood Revival September 13-15. I'll be spending the week in between with an Austin 7 friend in Cornwall. The Lady Michelle arrives Monday Sept 16 and that will be about it for old car activities this trip. It would be great to meet some of the UK members at either event if you're planning to attend — please post or send me a PM. Thanks. http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/international-autojumble http://www.goodwood.co.uk/revival/welcome.aspx Quote

BigDaddyO Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 What? You're not driving your old Dodge? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 no outriggers or paddle wheels... Quote
bamfordsgarage Posted August 8, 2013 Author Report Posted August 8, 2013 no outriggers or paddle wheels... Perhaps something like these Cuban rigs? Quote
bamfordsgarage Posted August 22, 2013 Author Report Posted August 22, 2013 Anybody up for a visit at either event? Cuppa tea's on me! Quote
Robin (UK) Posted August 22, 2013 Report Posted August 22, 2013 Really wish I could meet you for a cuppa. But I'll be in South Wales on 7th and 8th (Hot Rod Races at Pendine Sands) and running a community event on 15th, so won't be at Goodwood. Look forward to seeing some pictures. I'm sure Garry (UK Plymouth on here) and William (NormanPitkin on here) are likely to be at Goodwood, so worth PM-ing them. Hope you have a great time in the UK. Robin. Quote
RobertKB Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Chris, sounds like a great car time! Now, when you were in Hawaii, you followed my instructions to have a Mai Tai for me. When in the UK, please have a pint of bitter (London Pride preferably), for me. It would be greatly appreciated by me but more so by you!! I was in he UK in March but had to leave as they ran out of bitter because some crazy Canadian was drinking it all! LOL I would really love to get to Goodwood before my expiry date comes up! Quote
