Anybody know where to get a new cable, or better yet cross one over, checked with Andy Bernbaum, but 70.00 seems a little steep to me.

You might be able to keep the armour and replace the cable from Hardware stock. Just cut to lenght and have the hardware swedge on some of those compression cable stop thingies.

it's all shot, looks like they routed it wrong, and its pretty trashed.

Where ever you get one be sure it is to replace part # 1138953 NOT part # 1138949. The Wayfarer uses a shorter cable.

I would keep an eye on E-Bay as that is where I bought mine. What is the length of your old one? I think I still have my old one but its needs the cable, the old one is still inside it. It was frayed and I used the very small cable clamps to cut out the fray part and have a smooth cable. Let me know and maybe we can come up with a deal. What is the lenght for cable housing?

I have 3 NOS cables of different lenghts. How long is yours? What do the ends look like?
