Hi All;  where can I purchase new or replcement door hinge pins? both upper and lower for both sides, for 52' pilot house---thanks, Ken

I've always had good luck with the generic pins with multiple bushing...find them at the big box..not sure if you going to walk in and find one marked for 1952 dodge truck,,though you could get lucky that way...

 

some of the truck minded repopper could have them listed..

I'm glad this subject came up. I ordered the repro ones for my 46. They are a longer style with a nut on the bottom side that is supposed to hold on the mirror arms. Well I'm not sure if they are made wrong or if my truck has been modified for larger pins due to wear but they were completely loose in the hinges.

 On my 1941 truck , new hinge pins were too loose . I ended up using hard bolts that had a smooth shank where they touched the hinges and put a nut on the ends . I had to drill out the hinges to the size of the bolts . I don't remember if I drilled to 5/16 or 3/8 . My hinges each have two little holes for oiling . Also when I tightened my hinge bolts down , I was careful to see that things were rotating correctly , as the rotation was on the meaty portion of the hinges and not the thinner top and bottom .
