Ram Man 02 Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 a friend has a subscription to Hemmings and in the July issue they have a brief article on vintage dodge parts. It goes into many different generations of dodge trucks so i figured i would highlight some that deal with the pilothouse. Ive heard of some of these suppliers before but not all so here is the pilothouse list. Classic Enterprises http://www.classicent.com/DODGE.php power wagon parts http://www.midwestmilitary.net/ http://northwesternautosupply.com/ http://mack-products.com/products-page/dodge/ not the article i was looking for but these still contain good info http://www.hemmings.com/hmn/stories/2006/04/01/hmn_feature26.html http://www.hemmings.com/hmn/stories/2011/07/01/hmn_feature33.html Quote
1952B3b23 Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 Once again thanks for passing that along. Ive only heard of "midwest military" and "Mack Products" out of the above mentioned but ive never bought from them. -Chris Quote
ggdad1951 Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 I've visited and bought from Midwest Military (the ONLY source for correct DODGE bed strips) and they are quite nice, very willing to help. Quote
Ram Man 02 Posted June 7, 2013 Author Report Posted June 7, 2013 mark, thats good to know. i will have to look into them when the time comes to redo my bed Quote
Young Ed Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 By only correct he means the only exact stamping thats the same as OEM. Since you're going a non OEM route already there is no reason not to use the other guys. Then you can get cooler ones with hidden fastners or stainless steel. I've got a stainless steel set from Mar-K sitting here for the plymouth pickup. Quote
