Dash Removal Woes

I'd like to know how to remove the two radio control knobs on my '47 Desoto.  They don't have set screws like the clear plastic knobs.  When I remove the radio - which I assume is held fast at least by the two bolts at the rear of it - I can't see how the knobs come with it.  Maybe the knobs are press fit but I don't want to screw up anything.

That's hilarious. Yes this post was from 3 years ago, but I just found it.

The metal backed dash pads are retained by 3/8" nuts on studs on the backside of the dash and can be difficult to access.
