B1B Keven Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 How much arc is there in the optional rear bumper? If you laid it on it's ends, what would be the measurement between the ground and the center of the bumper? I've got one that's bent and need to know how far to straighten it. Quote
JBNeal Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Thanks to the ongoing & much needed rain, the Spring Special is sitting in an unlit chocolate mudpie...here's a few pics that might get ya going in the right direction...I reckon if ya get it close enough that the mounting brackets line up, ya should be good to go Quote
52b3b Joe Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 I ran out and measured mine quick, in the middle its 3.75" from the bottom lowest part of the steel when the bumper is laying ached up. The bumper doesn't curve much until you get near the ends. Its "straighter" than the front one if that makes sense. Overall length is 65 and 5/8". Mine wasn't too bad to start with and I just straightened it up last weekend in my press so the numbers should be good. I you need pictures I could get some tomorrow evening when I get home from work. Quote

It's pretty straight now, but it sounds like it needs more flattening. Thank you too JB! Quote
pflaming Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Others' pics might be better but here are mine. I like my bumper, it's very useful, especially with the hitch. Edited January 9, 2013 by pflaming Quote
