I haven't seen one of these tags up close, but mine has lost the color. 1948 P-15. I'm talking of the tag that is mounted on the drivers side cowl panel. It looks like it should be red from pictures that I see occasionally. Does this tag have any meaningful info such as model numbers or the like? Are reproduction tags available?

Now that one is different than the other two listed. Which one of the three is correct for 48 p15?

Darren

Hello all.

My 50 Meadowbrook has a cowl tag displaying a detroit address. Can anyone tell me if that is the plant address or just the company hq address?

Where were these cars built?

I am no Guru in this, but I think you can tell the manufacturing location by the serial number of your ride.

Please read the "reference" chapter of the excellent P15-D24 info pages...

Company headquarters. So, US cars will have Detroit. Michigan, while Canadian cars have Windsor, Ontario.
