Hey Guys,

I'm sad to say that I'm looking to move on to another project and sell my Special Deluxe Club Coupe. Most of you know the history of the car from my many posts on the forum. The engine has under 300 hours on it since the rebuild and runs like a top.

Here is a link to my engine rebuild thread:

If you do a search of my posts you can see what has been done with the car. If anyone is interested and has questions please email me @ aero3113@optonline.net

I'm willing to listen to any reasonable offer.

A mechanic friend once told me that Porsche was german for toilet. He said it must be because it is a small area into which you put money you want to flush away.

Good luck with your sale and your new project.

I was in your neck of the woods a couple weeks back. Did a dealer trade for the Dodge place I work for. Went to a dealer in Wantagh. Had lunch at the Sun Rise dinner. Getting there was no problem, gettin out was a b!+ch. Throgs neck bridge backed up GW a mess, rollover accident on 90 west in NJ. Ended up taking surface streets through the bronx and going north on the Hutchenson Parkway Then trough White Plains to the Thruway. 5 hours down 7 hours back. YUCCCK. I realize you don't have to deal with getting through the city often but I couldn't make myslef livve like that any more.

I had many midnight snacks at the sunrise diner back in the day. Popular spot to eat after hitting the local bars. I grew up in Wantagh and now live a half hour east in Smithtown. Traffic can be a real pain all over the island
