old-idaho-iron Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Jeff, you've been what is commonly called "bitten by the bug" lol Good luck on the wagons! Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Just like that old saying......"when it rains, it pours." You seem to be deluged by Plymouth wagons. Have pics of the others?? Quote
iamjeff171 Posted August 24, 2012 Author Report Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) here are the others. if anyone needs some desotos i know a guy who has several he also had a flat 6 with overdrive that was supposedly overhauled and ran (30 years ago) that i might pick up. the one with the visor and ancient primer job is the first one i picked up its a '50. I think i am going to build one of the '51s tho as they are in a little better shape, and it would be nice to have a parts car... Edited August 24, 2012 by iamjeff171 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 the wagon are great..one high line Savoy and two Suburbans..they are unique and not seen every day on the average.. Quote
Kudzuking Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Consider yourself lucky, like to have one for myself Quote
RobertKB Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Old Mopars are addictive. I know, I have four! Quote
iamjeff171 Posted August 30, 2012 Author Report Posted August 30, 2012 the '50 will be for sale in case anyone is interested. Quote
iamjeff171 Posted August 30, 2012 Author Report Posted August 30, 2012 im also fairly certain the savoy is getting a carbed magnum 360/a518, but im still doing some research. You can pick up fairly low mileage engine/trans combo's for 600-700 all day in my area. Quote
iamjeff171 Posted September 16, 2012 Author Report Posted September 16, 2012 found the original owners manual and warranty paper work in the glovebox of one. Quote
