I found this in a used book store the other day and although I don't own a P15, I do have a B2B truck. It looks like a 1947 supplement to the main manual. It's 36 pages long and I'd be willing to scan and post the pages if anyone's interested.:)

If it is too big to email PM me and I will get you the info for my Dropbox account.

Maybe you could scan it and submit it to GTK to add to the reference pages of the forum...I think most folks would like that...

How do I "submit" it?

Have you scanned the service manual for the 48 Plymouth P15 yet. If you have where can I find it to down load or print a copy? You can e-mail it to me if you want or what is best for you?

Thanks,

Larry:)

I haven't gotten to it yet. Probably not until next week. Too much other stuff going on right now...:(

It is in pdf format and is text string searchable.

Hi GTK,

What software do you use to do that? I've got some OCR software that will do a very rough cut on making searchable PDFs out of scans but the results are pretty grim. Looking for something better...

Thanks!

I brought them into Acrobat and used it's built in OCR capability. It actually works pretty good and is fast. It's Acrobat Pro v8.

If you know a teacher, they should be able to get a hefty discount on the Adobe suite of software. About $150 in Australia for a disk containing photoshop, acrobat, and a few others.

and it came with a page scanner I purchased a while back. Adobe has priced themselves out of the market. Gimp replaced Photoshop, Inkscape for Illustrator and both are free open source products.
