Jim Shepard Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) I found this in a used book store the other day and although I don't own a P15, I do have a B2B truck. It looks like a 1947 supplement to the main manual. It's 36 pages long and I'd be willing to scan and post the pages if anyone's interested. Edited August 7, 2012 by Jim Shepard Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Maybe you could scan it and submit it to GTK to add to the reference pages of the forum...I think most folks would like that... Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Thanks for the offer........I second Tim's thoughts. Quote

Labrauer Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Have you scanned the service manual for the 48 Plymouth P15 yet. If you have where can I find it to down load or print a copy? You can e-mail it to me if you want or what is best for you? Thanks, Larry:) Quote

Jim Shepard Posted August 21, 2012 Author Report Posted August 21, 2012 Ok, I submitted it to GTK's dropbox... Quote
Guest P15-D24 Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 It's on the main site on the Downloads page here Or you can directly download this link to the pdf. It is in pdf format and is text string searchable. Quote
Jim Shepard Posted August 22, 2012 Author Report Posted August 22, 2012 Cool. Glad I was able to get it to you... Quote
TodFitch Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 It is in pdf format and is text string searchable. Hi GTK, What software do you use to do that? I've got some OCR software that will do a very rough cut on making searchable PDFs out of scans but the results are pretty grim. Looking for something better... Thanks! Quote
Guest P15-D24 Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 I brought them into Acrobat and used it's built in OCR capability. It actually works pretty good and is fast. It's Acrobat Pro v8. Quote

If you know a teacher, they should be able to get a hefty discount on the Adobe suite of software. About $150 in Australia for a disk containing photoshop, acrobat, and a few others. Rick Quote
Guest P15-D24 Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 and it came with a page scanner I purchased a while back. Adobe has priced themselves out of the market. Gimp replaced Photoshop, Inkscape for Illustrator and both are free open source products. Quote
