The ones from Roberts worked perfect on my 51.  I also had to trim one or two of them to make the seam (between the fender top and hood bottom) dimensionally consistent.

Odd, those were way to small for FEF.  I had to cut down some others to .75" just like the ones I took off the NOS hood last night.

These only protrude 5/16". Not sure why you would need 3/4".........so there may be some other differences that we are missing?

me neither, but if they aren't 3/4" tall they won't touch the fender....might be an assembly issue?  But the NOS ones are 3/4"....

Hmmm.....?......It is entirely possible that mine are not correct.....but they do make contact with the fender. I do have a few minor fit up issues that I have not yet resolved.

I will have to see if I can find some that are 3/4" high and see what that does. It looks like they where only located on the front section of the hood....one on each side. Seems to me another one towards the rear of the hood might be possible as well and help with sheetmetal alignment.
